Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations used.
The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced by another of the same kind however with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or bought from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next success result is repeated. This helps you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they are open they show a complete description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
During the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters which blueprints the restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that boost the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, players must first locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be when being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the
item upgrade is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and doesn't affect the longevity of the item. This is an excellent option for players who want to gain an advantage in combat, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item to an entirely new piece of equipment.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are many methods to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is accomplished by the combination of an
Best item upgrade with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in the area. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at a time. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items as well as a certain equipment level.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can add a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When players have enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will be increased by an amount of. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Likewise, once an item is on the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on its type however, you'll usually require Dilithium and an amount of Upgrade tokens.
The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This will give them additional effects or an increase in quality of the
Best item upgrader. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that can improve the
item upgrader kit's stats.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", however, increases weapon damage.
