World of Warcraft -
item upgrade Upgrading
The
item upgrade (
click through the next site) lets players increase an
Best item upgrade's gear rating up 700 points and also add a final bonus. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you take them to the Kiln.
Certain items can be upp'd for their unique stats (like a perfectly made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not vary greatly post upgrade, and therefore aren't worth upgrading.
Weapons
Upgrades to weapons can boost their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit probability and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also have a flat bonus that increases their damage per second. Many weapons also have a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are equipped in a single unit. This bonus can sometimes be greater than the damage that an upgrade can do on its own.
The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the quality of the weapon and its current level. For instance, an upgrade to a +2 weapon requires two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a weapon will continue to increase until it requires the higher level of Smithing Stones, at which point it will reset to one.
The upgrade of weapons can also change their base stats. While this is generally an excellent thing however, it could have negative effects as well. For items that are only used in a specific build (Whistant's shield for FB Sorcs, for example) upgrading them can render them useless unless you get a lucky roll.
It is possible to upgrade armor items to improve their stats. In the case of a helm or chest, this will increase the defense of its base, while gloves and belts will improve their required strength and dexterity. Armor also offers a reroll option for its Enhanced Defense percentage, which means that it could roll back to a lower number.
The upgrade template for a weapon displays the new stats it will get when upgraded, along with their respective values. This means that an upgrade from a sword that has 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword will result in a weapon gaining an attack damage of 3. However the 3% difference doesn't mean that it will be hit for 3 times less often because it's an absolute statistic.
Rerolling a weapon is also possible by pressing the green button within the
item upgrader kit menu using the arrows that are circling. This will reroll an
item upgrading and change its statistics, but it will not reset the weapon's level or bind it to account status.
Armor
Adding a few upgrades to your armor could make a huge differences in your capacity to withstand. Certain sets can provide MASSIVE improvements in the resistance to poison, curses, fire, and magic. This can make it easier to traverse difficult terrains. In general, the greater defense your character has the more value you will get from every point of health you possess and it's crucial to upgrade your armor as often as you can.
To improve your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four of them, and each requires you to complete a special side quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.
Each piece of armor can be upgraded to three levels, and the amount of materials and Rupees required for each will vary. You'll need anywhere between three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade your first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for instance can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to keep up in frigid environments with a large number of adversaries. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other is able to be upgraded to +20 defense so that you can survive a raid with friends.
Note that armor can't be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll have to work on upgrading it for physical power if you're Warrior or Spell Power when you're Mage. It's also worth saving your armor upgrades for armor you'll wear at the end of the game, like the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you use to fight the final boss as well as the Monter Parts merchant's mask.
You can also unlock some perks for your armor by presenting the jeweler at Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. It is generally recommended to save these upgrades for the weapon that you'll use to win the game. For instance, the Longsword or Battleaxe. However, it's beneficial to have some upgrades for the chest armor and helmets to let you get around a few monsters.
Potions
Potions are bottled substances that, when consumed give the player a temporary status effect. There are five kinds of potions with different effects and durations. Some potions may be upgraded, increasing their level of effect. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding redstone dust and glowstone dust.
Upgrades to potion cost a certain amount of XP. These can be earned by making them on a crafting table or in the Alchemist's chest. The upgrade price varies depending on the type of potion and the item's rarity as well as Mark Level.
To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This opens a GUI in which you can select the potion you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll give you when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at a time, and their XP will be added to the total XP you currently have.
Once a potion has been upgraded, it won't degrade until you re-use it, or break the bottle it's stored in. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will allow you to rename it.
Version 1.7.2 brought a few changes to the mechanism of potions. For instance splash potions now have a duration of 0.08 seconds (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display for the item). The potion table can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players playing Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. The same applies to using a potion within the cauldron that is filled. This will drain the liquid, and then refill the bottle.
In addition, there are simmering potions that are made with dragon breath and splash potions. In the same way, a lingering potion effect can be extended by adding redstone to it. The potion table is rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, for instance, the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.
Trinkets
A trinket is a small and inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to a small ornament or object that has a purpose but is not important, like a Thimble. In some cultures, a trinket is used to express affection or friendship between family members.
Trinkets can be upgraded by players in addition to weapons or armor, as well as potions. These can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. Unlike other item upgrades trinkets are able to be swapped out at will without losing their status.
Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of each zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are available using tokens, gold, or fragments from a rare trinket.
Upgrades to trinkets are an affordable alternative to buying new ones. It is possible to upgrade a player for just 12 tokens. The new trinket comes with the same base level as the previous trinket however, it will also come with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.
Trinkets can be upgraded when the old ones are not needed and allows players to increase their power and worth over time.
