Item Upgrades
Item Upgrader Mod (
Maps.Google.Hr) upgrades provide players with the ability to upgrade their equipment that they already own. This can be done at any upgrader NPC.
Upgrades increase the main stat of an item and add additional features based on the type of item. Examples include Whistan's shield for FB sorcs or Goldwrap for casting builds.
Armour
Armour is among the most important factors that keep Link protected from damage in most situations. Although it isn't able to be upgraded like weapons, it can be improved in different ways to increase its defence capabilities.
Armour is designed to shield animals or people from harm or injury from direct physical attack or a variety of activity or environmental hazards. Historically, the majority of armour was made from fabrics or leather, however metal protections were also employed in military applications, particularly like heavy cavalry or combat drones.
As with weapons, there are a number of ways that armour can be upgraded, however, most of them will require a visit to one of the four Great Fairy Fountains located throughout Hyrule. Each fountain has a unique level of upgrades available, with more granting greater levels of protection and require a higher price in rupees and materials to unlock.
First, Armor Upgrades are permanent upgrades. Once they've been applied they aren't able to be removed in the event that you own a piece of gear with the same upgrade. You should only apply the highest-level upgrades to your equipment and ensure that you have all the components required to complete the process.
For those who want to acquire the upgrade components needed to upgrade your character, they are available in a variety of places around Hyrule including shrines, shops, and even enemies. They are typically marked with the blue triangle or gold circle symbol and are found in huge numbers as you progress. While they might appear randomly, there's a chance that acquiring certain upgrade elements will lead to quests that reward players with more.
It's also worth noting that even though the amount of protection provided by each upgrade is different but it's the same for all upgrades and will always be better than nothing. This is because a full set of upgraded armour will provide you with a substantial defense boost that protects you from all types of attacks, except magic which makes it a very effective weapon for any class.
Weapons
You can upgrade your guns by using special upgrades to create a truly unique weapon. They can boost damage, alter the weapon's stats so that they are suited to your build and even unlock new attachments such as unique ammo types, enchantments and other options for aesthetics.
You'll need both the upgrade component as well as the weapon itself to upgrade it. The weapon should be at a minimum of an appropriate level to upgrade it. Most weapons can only be upgraded by one upgrade.
There are weapon upgrade components scattered around the globe and even from the hands of enemies, or they can be bought from a merchant. Upgrade components are a mix of ingredients that you are able to put into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and other items in order to gain an attribute bonus. The equipment must be at a certain level in order to accept the upgrade. It can be upgraded the same way as other items.
The upgrades themselves are a mixture of Smithing Stones and Runes, and are used for enhancing the stats of a base weapon, and also to increase its scalability with other stats. These upgrades can be purchased from enemies in the open world or from merchants. They can also be obtained through combat.
Two NPCs can enhance your weapon: Blacksmith Hewg in the Roundtable Hold hub zone and the Smithing Master Iji, in the Road to Manor hub zone. Both of these NPCs will accept your Smithing Stones and Runes in exchange for a more powerful version of the weapon as well as an upgrade.
It's crucial to prioritise upgrading your top-of-the-line items first, then the ones you won't replace soon. Upgrade your weapon first, then upgrade your shoulders, chest, hands, and feet when you are planning to play a melee build. The same principle applies to Magic and Utility Items. But, depending on your playstyle, some specific items are more useful than others. Armour is no different, with some refining better than others.
Magic Items
A character can only upgrade one magic item at a time. If an upgrade project is canceled and the next upgrade for the
Best item upgrader will not start. Magic items that are upgraded cost double the amount of gold it would cost to create or buy, but they can also offer additional advantages.
A magical item could be any item that has special properties or effects. These are usually weapons, but they could also be shields, armors, cloaks and potions. They can also be rings, scrolls, or other items. Certain of these items can be converted into a sentient.
The majority of magic items have their abilities enhanced. This makes them more useful to a player or help them to overcome a difficult situation. A weapon that contains an ingredient that is unique could, for instance, provide additional damage against a specific enemy type. Certain objects with enchanted properties have special powers which allow the character to cast spells that aren't in their class list. This is beneficial for characters who have trouble filling their spell slots due to multiclassing. These enchanted objects require an Intelligence check (Arcana), and the spell is determined by rolling a table based on the number of Intelligence points spent.
Other enchanted objects might allow the character's appearance be changed, or they could even create a completely new one. They can be especially useful for those who have to leave their homes, or are in a place that they aren't welcomed. An enchanted item might provide them with an invisibility effect, or make them invisible to everyone except a chosen person.
Utility Items
Utility items are equipment which isn't part of the categories of Armor or Clothing and come with a range of capabilities. In contrast to weapons and armor they are not a single utility item that is able to be in conflict with another. The majority of utility items come with a passive effect that players can activate while using them. Some have additional abilities which are activated by pressing a button or triggering a skill.
The Flashlight is the most popular accessory. It lights up the area around it. Other options include the Helicopter Hat and Rocket Boots, which allow players to fly in the air while moving, and the Jetpack which allows players to accelerate in any direction while on the ground. In the Engineering section, you can create instantly a variety of utility items, while others are available only through research projects or experimental projects on the Proving Ground.
In addition to the items available in the standard inventory, players can also unlock the most powerful utility items by buying them from the Atomic Shop and also from seasonal Scoreboard rewards (such as the Shadow Goggles). Some of these items can be upgraded for more effective use.
The majority of utilitarian items give the player a navigational advantage or increase the effectiveness of a particular combat skill.
