World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Item upgrades provide players with the possibility of upgrading equipment that they already own. This can be done through any Item Upgrader (

Upgrades increase the main stat of an item and add additional features based on the type of item. Examples include Whistan's shield for FB sorcs, or Goldwrap for caster builds.
Armour
Link's armor is a crucial element to protect him from harm. While it cannot be upgraded like weapons, it can still be improved in various ways to improve its defence capabilities.
The fundamental idea behind armour is to safeguard the person or animal from physical harm or injury, either from direct physical assault or from a range of environmental and activity hazards. Historically, most armour was made of leather or fabric, but metal protections were also employed particularly for military purposes like heavy cavalry or combat drones.
As with weapons, there are a number of ways in which armor can be upgraded, but the majority of them require visiting one of the four Great Fairy Fountains located throughout Hyrule. Each fountain provides a different degree of improvement and higher levels of protection requiring more rupees and materials.
First, Armor Upgrades are permanent upgrades. Once they've been applied, they can't be removed until you own a different piece of equipment with the same upgrade. It is important that you only apply the highest grade of upgrades to your equipment and ensure that you have the materials needed to complete the process.
You will find the upgrades you require in a variety locations throughout Hyrule. These include shrines, merchants and even enemies. These are usually marked by an orange triangle or a gold circle and are available in large numbers as you progress through. They can appear randomly, but there is a chance that getting certain upgrades will trigger a quest which will reward you with even more.
It's important to note that, even though the level that upgrades offer may differ but it will always be greater than nothing. A complete set of upgraded armor will give you a high-defense boost that will protect against all types of attacks including magic. This makes it an effective weapon for any class.
Weapons
If you'd like to make your guns truly distinctive, you can upgrade them with a variety of special upgrades. They can increase the damage, change the weapon's stats in order to adapt to your particular build and even unlock new attachments such as unique ammo types, enchantments and other options for aesthetics.
To upgrade a weapon, you'll need to have an upgrade component available as well as the
item upgrade itself. The weapon should be at least a certain level to upgrade it. Most weapons only take one upgrade.
Weapon upgrade components are available all over the world from enemies or from merchants. The upgrade components themselves are a combination of components that can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to grant an attribute bonus or extra effect while they're in use. They require that the equipment be of a certain level to be able to take the upgrade. They can be upgraded in the same way as other items.
The upgrades themselves are a mixture of Smithing Stones and Runes, and are used to improve the stats of a base weapon, and also to increase its scalability with other stats. These upgrades are available from enemies in the open world, or from merchants. They can also be dropped by combat.
There are two NPCs that can upgrade your weapons: Blacksmith Hewg in the Roundtable Hold hub area and the Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor hub area. Both of these NPCs accept your Smithing Stones or Runes to upgrade your weapon.
It's crucial to prioritize upgrading your most-used items first, then items that you won't need to replace soon. If you're planning to play a melee build, for instance upgrade your weapon, then your chest and shoulders, then your hands and feet. The same principle applies to Magic and Utility Items. But, depending on the style you play, certain procs will be more useful than others. Armour is not any different, with some reforges better than others.
Magic Items
A character can only upgrade one magic item. If an upgrade project is cancelled, no more upgrades will be planned for the
Best item upgrader. Upgraded magic items cost twice as much gold to make or purchase, but they can provide additional benefits.
A magical item is an item that has some special properties or effects. Most of these items are weapons, however some are also armor, shields as well as cloaks, potions scrolls, rings and other objects. Some of these items are telepathic.
Most magic items can be enhanced in their abilities. This makes them more useful to players or aid them to overcome a difficult situation. A weapon that contains some special substance could be able to provide extra damage against a certain kind of enemy. This is particularly beneficial for characters who have reached a point at which they will likely face the same kind of monster in dungeons repeatedly.
A ring infused by magic might grant immunity to nonmagical attacks that bludgeon, pierce, or slash (excluding silver-based attacks) until the character takes another long rest. This is especially beneficial for melee martial characters or any other character who wants to avoid the cost and hassle of purchasing a shield.
Certain objects with enchanted properties have special abilities that allow the character to cast spells that aren't on their class list. This is helpful for characters who have trouble filling their spell slots because of multiclassing. These items that are enchanted typically require an Intelligence (Arcana) check prior to use them, and the spell is determined by rolling a table that is based on the number Intelligence points spent.
Other items that are enchanted can allow the player to change their appearance, or even create a completely new one. These items can be especially useful for characters that were forced to leave their home or located in an area in which they are not welcomed. A magical item could grant them an invisibility effect, or make them invisible to all but a select few.
Utility Items
Utility items are any equipment that isn't part of the categories of Clothing or Armor and have a variety of capabilities. They are not compatible with each other, in contrast to Armor or Weapons. The majority of utility items have a passive effect that the player can activate by using them but some have additional abilities that are activated when the user presses a button or activates an ability.
Generally, the most common type of utility item is the Flashlight that illuminates the surrounding area. Other items that are useful include the Helicopter Cap and Rocket Boots which allow the player to float in mid-air while moving, and the Jetpack that allows the player to accelerate in any directions when on the ground. In the Engineering section, you can instantly produce several utility items, while others are available only through research projects or experimental projects on the Proving Ground.
Players can unlock more powerful utility items in addition to the ones available in their regular inventory by purchasing them from the Atomic Shop or from seasonal Scoreboard rewards. Certain of these items are upgradeable to make them more effective.
The majority of utility items give players a navigational advantage or increase a specific combat ability. For example, Sharpening stones made by the Weaponsmith increase Ferocity and Power as well as Maintenance Oils created by the Huntsman increase the power of concentration and healing. Other utility items can be used by the player to boost Damage or Condition Damage.
