The
item upgrader is an additional widget to the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no gaming benefit other than making it easier to see and purchase upgrades.

Costs
There are a few expenses related to upgrades of items. The first is the cost of performing the upgrade. The cost is based on the item's new ilvl and the number of perks it will gain and is often expensive. Upgrades to a higher level (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be expensive.
The other is the cost of the materials required for an upgrade. The items used for upgrades are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and up) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). The quantity of these items required can be seen in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
