Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade
The process of upgrading an item, often called "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment provides an increase in the linearity of the stats of a particular.

The actual value of the glyph is determined by the quality and tier of the product you are enchanting it to.
The majority of upgrade components that are inserted into items can't be removed or replaced without removing them, with the exception of legendary upgrades and equipment. If, however, you have a rune or glyph that hasn't yet been added to your gear, you can move it to a different piece equipment by utilizing the Upgrade Glyphs context menu in the Glyphs panel.
