WoW Upgrades - The
Best item upgrade Upgrader
Upgrades give you boosts in certain statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.
The upgraded gear typically has a higher trade value as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variance (like eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll a perfect version.
Recycle Points
The
Item Level Upgrade upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. However, the item that is used to upgrade will remain in use for a long time and can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.
You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader at least once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up to date.
Upgrades will cost more depending on the level of the item however they'll always be cheaper than buying new equipment. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are functional items that can be used to level up weapons tools, armor, and accessories. They can be purchased by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any tool, weapon, or armor. The button will display the item's next upgrade level in the event that there are enough materials.
upgrade items costs vary depending on the slot of the item and the current item level. For example, weapons will cost more than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Some upgrades offer discounts on Flightstones. Once an item is upgraded to a certain amount, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower price.
Many locations have upgraders for their items in addition to the main island and a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade coupon and a chance to obtain the latest recipe. The upgrade discount increases when more items are upgraded. It can also be increased by having players finish certain achievements or quests.
Icewind Dale does not have an
item upgrader at the start unlike Cromwell from Baldur's Gate II. The NPCs who are able to facilitate upgrades are only accessible through a variety means. This is both a benefit as well as a drawback.
In Season 3 the upgrade system has been altered a bit, with some new features added. When a player has an upgrade to a specific level for an item in an armor slot, upgrading additional items to that same
item level upgrade level will cost less, even in the event that they are part of a different gear set.
The discount applies to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is reduced too, but it is only available when certain milestones have been reached.
Crests
Players have a variety of options when it comes to upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more special, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an important element of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System that was introduced in version 10.1. They come in four ranks.
The first thing to remember is that crests are only able to be used to purchase equipment that is of a particular rank, and that every rank has different requirements for upgrading. The simplest and easiest upgrade is 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade requires up to 20 crests, contingent on the type or equipment being upgraded.
Players can earn crests by completing tasks at the appropriate level. This could mean engaging in outdoor activities or taking on dungeons and raids of any difficulty to earn equipment of lower tier or Mythicbosses of raids or dungeons with a heroic difficulty for endgame gear. These crests are then exchanged with an
item upgrader kit upgrader like Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken for the appropriate upgrade steps and paths.
Using these new currencies isn't too complicated, but the system will introduce a few modifications to the upgrade process. When a piece of equipment reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it is no longer required to purchase Flightstones. This allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest possible level on all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.
It's also crucial to choose crests with care, since they have only one purpose. It is recommended to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the highest-quality gear that you can find and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is particularly relevant for items like trinkets and rings that take up several slots. The account-wide discount will only apply when all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
