By observing and engaging with the community surrounding Sabung Ayam, I gained a greater understanding of the complexities of this traditional pastime. While it may be controversial, it is clear that for many participants and spectators, it holds deep cultural and social significance. Ultimately, it is clear that any efforts to address the concerns surrounding Sabung Ayam must take into account the perspectives and experiences of those directly involved in the practice.
