Cheap Pushchairs For All Terrains
Depending on your lifestyle and needs, you may choose to purchase an inexpensive pushchair that is suitable for all terrains. The most affordable strollers are light and easy to fold, steer and carry.
This is a great choice when you are limited on space or a small boot. Our testers are impressed by the compact fold-down design, with the frame overhanging and the wheels collapsing into the frame to save space.
Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1
The Maxi-Cosi Zelia is a versatile, affordable option that can be converted from a lay-flat stroller into a seat for your growing baby. It can be used from birth with the included lightweight Mico Luxe infant car seat, which comes with Side Impact Protection and premium PureCosi fabrics to keep your child comfy. It is simple to switch into the
pram double mode, and you can choose if you want your child to be facing you for reassurance or to look outwards to take in the sights.
This pushchair features a large shopping basket, a smart recline that is one-handed, as well as a convenient one-hand folding. The canopy is large and features the sun visor, which flips out, and a peek-a-boo window that will help protect your child from sun. The hood can be expanded to give your baby extra UPF 50 protection, and a cushioned seat with an ergonomic design ensures they are comfy and secure. The cup holder is handy, and there's also a storage compartment for all your essentials.
Our tester took the Zelia out for a stroll through the town and was impressed with how well it handled. The front wheels can be locked in a forward-facing position or a quick flick of the switch on each allows them to swivel to help navigate rough terrain. She tried it out on a bumpy stony path and was impressed by how well it managed even though it's not designed for a lot of off-roading.
She was also happy by how easily the seat unit folded. It has a lever easily reachable on the back of the chassis that can be pulled to lift the seat unit from its base. It's a fantastic design that is safe for your back as you don't have to take the seat off, simply pull the catch to let it open and fold it. The handlebar can be adjusted to suit your height too. The Zelia comes with a cup holder, booster cushion and rain cover. You can purchase Maxi-Cosi adaptors separately. It is compatible with any Maxi-Cosi baby car seat. It's a fantastic value 2-in-1 stroller that comes with a 3+1 year Warranty.

This black and rose-gold travel system, designed by Christina Milian for her AM:PM collection, is an excellent value that's appropriate from birth. It comes with a decent-sized car seat and carrycot so your baby will not be outgrowing it too soon. It comes with a variety of other useful features such as an enormous shopping basket and a fully adjustable leg rest.
Mums were thrilled with how easy this
pushchair was to maneuver and how light it was. They were also impressed by the cushioned seat and large, extendable hood that offered good protection from the sun. It was a nice addition that the car came with a cup holder and rain cover.
The classic umbrella-style folding is simple to do with one hand and the foot-operated break is also extremely comfortable. The front swivel wheels are able to be locked into a fixed position to avoid driving on cobbles and rougher pavements. The MB250 is also extremely quiet and provides an easy ride even on rough terrain.
This is a stylish stroller that comes with some great extras such as a changing bag, newborn insert and a footmuff that is included in the price. It is fully reclined and can be used in parent or world facing modes that means you can modify it to fit your growing baby. The hood has an enormous visor that can be adjusted to fit your baby's needs.

Bugaboo Fox 5,
The Bugaboo Fox 5 is a top-quality stroller for families, boasting a super smooth ride and effortless maneuverability on any terrain. The innovative suspension system combines an oversized front wheel loaded with springs and an articulated central joint to ensure an easy ride for your child. The extra-large, all-terrain, puncture-proof wheels are designed to aid you in traversing grass, cobbles and sand.
Like all Bugaboo
cheap pushchairs, this one is built with user-friendliness in mind. It boasts a single-piece self-standing chassis that can be used with either the seat or bassinet (you'll have to purchase a separate frame for the carrycot). It can be folded using just one hand, so you don't have to stop and fight with bulky levers. A large portion of the components like the seat fabrics and sun canopy can be washed by a machine.
The frame of the Fox 5 is surprisingly light. I can easily lift the bassinet into my car boot even with it attached. This is a great feature that will help you save time and effort. It can also relieve the strain of carrying a heavy buggy.
The Fox 5 is available in a variety of colours and fabrics to match any style or preference. It's also designed to grow with your child, as the seat can be adjusted to accommodate the child at any age thanks to the footrest that can be adjusted and the sun canopy. This means you can keep it in use all the way to the age of four, allowing your child to ride in total comfort.
The Bugaboo Fox 5 was built in accordance with the company's Push To Zero commitment. This goal is to eliminate all emissions by 2035. This is accomplished by using 100% bio-based material and carbon-neutral shipping from their facility.
Baby Jogger City Mini
The City Mini is a full-size stroller that doesn't really stand out in any way, except the fact that it's light and compact when folded. It also scores well across all categories. However it doesn't score as highly as some of its rivals because of a poorly-placed peek-aboo and storage that's somewhat obstructed.
But, it's an excellent stroller and one of our top picks for families that require something that will get them through the day and occasionally a trip. It has a very wide footrest and is padded, which means that children will be comfortable. The seat reclines to a flat position but we found it a bit tricky to do and required two hands. The adjustable support for the calf is a great feature that allows your child to lift their feet if they're exhausted.
The City Mini, like many other strollers we have listed, has a large canopy that is UV50. Parents are raving about it. The sun shade is beautifully constructed and is able to pull all the way down, which is a great thing since it keeps your baby completely safe from the sun without the need to keep tucking it back in place.
The City Mini can be easily converted into a double-stroller by attaching an add-on kit. You can choose any Baby Jogger car-seat and create a travel system from the beginning. The only issue is that the addition of the second seat can alter the look and feel of the stroller and some parents may be a little unsure to navigate once they've gotten used to it.
The City Mini GT Double Stroller is a different option to the City Mini. This model is slightly more expensive than the single City Mini but it does have extra features, like "forever air" rubber suspension and tyres, making it suitable for off-road excursions.
