The item upgrader is an additional widget at the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no benefits to gameplay other than making it easier to see and buy upgrades.
Boosters
With an upgrader for items you can enjoy a number of bonuses. These can include stats and extra bonuses. These bonuses can be applied to weapons or armor, as well trinkets. They can be used to boost the capabilities of a character, or add a new element of variety to their build.

The number of upgrades you perform will determine the amount of extras you receive. Each upgrade will increase the extras in question by an increment of 1, up to a maximum value of 3. Each upgrade will also boost the main stats by +1.
In addition to the stat increases, some upgrades will also provide a random boost. These boosts can be very valuable and should be considered when choosing which items to upgrade. Some of these boosts can only be used in certain builds (such the Whistan's Shield, which is for FB Sorcs) Some are valuable to collectors.
Some items have an inherent boo, which is not useful when upgraded, like the Goldwrap which gives more slots for potion. These are usually upgraded to add value to a near-perfect or perfect item.
Costs
There are a few costs that are associated with upgrades to items. The first is the cost for the upgrade. The cost for this upgrade can be costly and depends on the new level of the item as well as the number of perks it receives. Upgrades to a higher level (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be costly.
The second is the price of the items required to upgrade. These items are usually Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or a specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor Quests. These materials can be found in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
It takes time to upgrade an item. Depending on the size of the upgrade, it can take anywhere from 8 to 12 hours. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated by using the item's new ilvl bonus, perks, as well as other properties. This calculation determines the latest Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In some instances upgrades can provide additional perks. These perks are offered in a list.
In rare cases, the upgrade will only replace the most expensive perks. An Upgrade Pity is a product that you can purchase from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of a successful upgrade by some percentage. It's similar to the "luck bonus" that certain items provide however it is more secure. It can be added to any armor or weapon and can be used up to three times.
It is also possible to add a range of additional materials to the upgrade, increasing its chance of success. These materials are displayed in a window above the + button. However, there are limitations to this, and the highest amount of material that can be added is shown directly above the + button in the UI.
A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it can be used to boost the odds of a successful upgrade. This item is beneficial if you have an item of equipment that has reached the highest level for its tier, or is close to it. It will allow you to upgrade that piece of equipment to the next level without worrying about breaking.
If an upgrade fails it will be returned to its original condition. This is usually an error, but it could also be a downgrade. It is an excellent idea to save upgrades for when you're close to the maximum level of an
item level upgrade, and use it as a last resort.
There are a variety of items available in the Kafra shop that can be used to boost the odds of a successful upgrade. For example, upgrading a piece of equipment with HD Oridecon or HD Elunium multiple times will give you more chance of success. The chance of success will be increased if you increase the chance of getting a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.
Failure Rate
The upgrader of an item allows the player to add an additional card slot to their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enhancement or enchantment on an item. It is important to know that not all items can be upgraded. The rank of an
item upgrading will determine the rate at which it can be upgraded and transformed. The higher the rank, the more zen and items you'll require to upgrade it.
This system is costly particularly if you are looking for top-quality gear. Upgrades to armor and weapons can cost up to 100,000 z or 100 Carnium. The rate of success decreases as you go up in rank. However, you can make use of cash shop items to increase the chance of upgrading your item successfully.
