Best item upgrader Upgrading
Upgrades to items allow players to increase the gear score of an item up to 700 and also add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you bring them to the kiln.
Certain items are worth upgrading because of their unique stats. (For instance the perfect broken point armor that is rolled can be used in melee PvP). Other items such as weapons don't really change after an upgrade and aren't worth the cost.
Weapons
Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, including attack damage, crit chance and PvE/PvP damage. They also have a flat bonus that increases the damage they deal per second. Some weapons also come with an unaffected bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a unit. This bonus could be greater than the damage that a weapon upgrade can do on its own.
The cost of upgrading a weapon varies on its rarity and level. For example an item with a rating of +2 will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while the +3 model requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a weapon will continue increase until it requires an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones, at which the amount will be reset to one.
Upgrades to weapons will also reroll the stats of the base. While this is usually beneficial however, it could have negative effects as well. Upgrades can make items impossible to use, unless you are very lucky.
Armor items can be upgraded to boost their stats. For instance, if you have chests or helms, it will boost its defense base while a belt and gloves will increase their strength and dexterity. Armor has a rerolling feature for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it is able to roll down to a lower value.
The upgrade template for a weapon displays the new stats it will get when upgraded and their respective values. This means that a change from a sword with 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in a weapon gaining 33% attack damage. However the 3% difference doesn't mean that it will be hit for 3 fewer times because it's an absolute number.
Rerolling a weapon is also possible by pressing the green button within the item menu with the arrows that circle. The
Best item upgrade will be rerolled and alter its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's levels or bind to account status.
Armor
A few armor upgrades can make the world of difference to your survival. Certain sets can provide MASSIVE increases in resistance to curses, poisons fire, magic, and other. This makes it easier to get through difficult terrains. In general, the greater defense your character has, the more value you get out of each point of health you possess, so it's important to upgrade your armor as much as possible.
To improve your armor, head to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four of them and each one requires you to complete a special side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed your main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor
upgrade item menu.
Each piece of armor can be upgraded to three levels and the amount of material and Rupees required to complete each will vary. You'll require anything between three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the initial armor piece, and between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, as an example, can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to keep up in frigid conditions with a large number of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other is able to be upgraded as high as +20 defense so that you're able to withstand a rout with your friends.
It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded in the same manner as weapons, so you'll need to focus on upgrading it for physical power if you're Warrior or Spell Power when you're a Mage. It's also worthwhile to save your armor upgrades for armor you'll be wearing at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you wear to fight the final boss, the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.
You can also gain perks for your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. Generally, you'll want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to beat the game, like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer However, it is useful to have some upgrades of the chest armor and helmets to let you stealthy battle certain monsters.
Potions
Potions are substances in bottles that, when consumed, give the user the illusion of status for a few minutes. There are five types of potions, each with different effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to increase their level of effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding redstone dust and glowstone dust.
Upgrades to potion cost a certain amount of XP, which can be earned by making them on a table or the chest of the Alchemist. The price of upgrades varies based on the type of potion used and the item's rarity as well as Mark Level.
To upgrade a potions you need to right-click it in your inventory. Then select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open a GUI where you can choose the potions you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll produce when upgraded. Upgrading potions can be done in batches of up to five at a time and the XP they provide will be added to your current XP level.
Once a poton is upgraded and stored, it will not degrade until you take it out again or break the bottle in which it is stored. You can also rename the potion by clicking it in your inventory.
There were a few changes to the mechanics of potion in version 1.7.2. For instance splash potions now have the duration of zero,08 seconds (this is not the equivalent of 22.5 seconds displayed on the item hover display). The table for potion can now be made using four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be used by players playing Survival and Bedrock. Contrary to Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions are not able to be combined in cauldrons. The same applies to using a potion in the cauldron that is filled. This will draw out the potion and refill the bottle.
Finally, there are simmering potions that are made with dragon breath and splash potions. Similar to lingering potions, the' effect is extended by adding redstone to it. The table of potions is rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, such as the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.
Trinkets
A trinket can be an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to an object or ornament that serves a function but is not important as a thimble. In some cultures a trinket is a way to show affection or friendship between family members.
In addition to armor, weapons, and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. They can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. Unlike other item upgrades (
conversational tone), trinkets can be traded out at any time without losing their stats.
The upgrade vendors are located in major cities and the capital of each zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are purchased with gold, tokens or fragments of a rare trinket.
Upgrades are a cheaper alternative to buying a new trinket. A player can upgrade a trinket for just 12 tokens. The new trinket comes with the same base level as the previous trinket but it also comes with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.
Once the old Trinkets have become no longer useful, they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase both their power and value over time. They can be traded between players and are a viable alternative to gold.
