item upgrader Upgrades
Item upgrades are a key aspect of preparing your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and enhancements of items.
They also provide rewards and upgrades. They are available by contacting the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is located on any item. Each item recycled adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When a weapon is upgraded, it receives a base damage bonus and a scaling factor which affects other stats. Certain upgrade components have aesthetic effects while others give additional features. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. Most require that the
item upgrader is equipped with an upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. If a weapon piece is equipped with an upgrade component it, it is able to be upgraded but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be retrieved by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a salvage tool of high-end quality on the item the
item upgrader mod.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that boosts certain stats, like Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This can be done through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon, this can be done up to four times.
Once the weapon is at max upgrade, it can be rebuilt using a variety of different types of upgrades to increase specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. All of these upgrades can be used simultaneously and the effects vary depending on how rare the weapon is.
Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the damage that a weapon inflicts.
It is generally recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, followed by armour defense, then the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon prior to upgrading other gear. This can help increase DPS. This is particularly true for enchantments, which can be very efficient in increasing a weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to increase the effectiveness of specific weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. They can also provide other effects, such as an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancements.
Item Upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, in loot drops or as quest rewards.
The quality of armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In the majority of cases, a piece of armor can be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. The majority of armor types can be upgraded, however certain items (such as the starter armour found in Great Sky Island) cannot.
Most armor upgrades increase the strength or defense of an item by only a tiny amount. However, certain upgrade components can give significant improvements in strength or defense, especially when upgrading an epic item.
In addition to increasing the defense of an item, certain upgrades also give specific abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, such as granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades provide passive effects that are useful like reducing damage while wearing armor or enhancing the chance to dodge an attack.
Depending on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item could require several tries. If a player is looking to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor that has a defense base between 59-67. The second attempt would result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense range of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this players must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations houses a powerful fairy who can
upgrade item a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief armor isn't useless in The Division 2. The reality is that some armors come with very substantial enhancements to poison, curse, fire or magic damage reduction, which makes them extremely useful for specific builds. There are other methods to improve armor stats besides upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger trait to decrease total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new tier of potion effects, and can be repeated to unlock more potencies.
The potion also gains a custom color code, which the player can select via /give, and that can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color also affects the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, common and thick potions as well as awkward potions now have a different brewing texture. Added potion of weakness and healing potion in the Creative inventory. The potions are lingering and can be made with splash potions or dragon breath, and a thick potion with the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4 hours). Trinket
A trinket can be described as a small inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a ring or necklace. Or even a small banner used to mark the lateen yard of a boat. It could also refer to a gilded trinket that is fixed to the mast of a boat.
This bizarre trinket appears to be influencing the residents of this maze and making them more popular. At its current level it makes all types of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives each floor an X% chance to have an ebony mimic. Upgrades to this trinket cost an amount of energy.
The magic from the enchanted scepter is believed to be affecting the dungeon itself, making it more likely to produce water and grass. This trinket at the current level will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It will not affect glyphs, enchantments or cursed weapons or armor, or items that are generated to aid in the elimination of danger rooms.
The item, which appears like a eyes of a nymph, seems to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond simply decreasing your field of view. At its current level this trinket can increase the total health of the drinkers of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X%. It also grants the ability to see enemies within the Y tiles. This does not stack with the Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you have completed the Mastery Cave. You will find them when you defeat Monsters and chests and crates. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket in the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will cause a random effect on the trinket either extending its lifespan or enhancing its effects. You can reorge the Trinket as often as you want, but it will always be able to produce the same effect.
You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by only a tiny amount.
