Based on the well-loved A06 Freedom Chair, this heavy-duty model has been designed to be able to accommodate people who weigh up to 25 stone/160kg. The chair is equipped with twin 300 watt motors that will take you to speeds of up to 4mph, with a an endurance of 9 miles or more from just one battery (a second battery can be added).
It's lightweight, foldable and compact when not in use, so it is easy to transport and to store. This makes it perfect for those who need to travel with their chair by plane, car or cruise ship, as it can easily fit into the cabin. It also comes with an airline-approved lithium-ion battery and adaptor for off-board charge.
The powerchair is controlled by the joystick that is mounted on either armrest. It is able to be used either left- or right-handed. The foot plate can be raised to allow for easy user transfer and the tyres have 12" all-terrain PU, so it can tackle more challenging terrain.
