What is Pragmatism?
People who are pragmatic prioritize actions and solutions which are likely to be successful in the real world. They don't get caught up by a set of idealistic theories that may not be practical in the real world.
This article focuses on the three methodological principles for pragmatic inquiry. It also provides two examples of projects that focus on organizational processes in non-governmental organizations. It suggests that pragmatism is a valuable research approach to study these dynamic processes.

But some pragmatists continued to develop the philosophy, including George Herbert Mead (who contributed to feminist feminism) and Dorothy Parker Follett (who considered an organizational function). Some pragmatists were focused on realism in its broadest sense regardless of whether it was a scientific realism based on the monism of truth (following Peirce) or a more generalized alethic pluralism (following James & Dewey).
Today, the pragmatic movement is growing worldwide. There are pragmatists from Europe, America and Asia who are interested in a range of topics, from Native American philosophy to environmental sustainability. The pragmatics also participate in meta-ethics and have developed a powerful argument for a new model of ethics.
