pram double that delivers what's on the box. It is simple to use, light and elegant. It's designed to be a part of city life and if you want to travel with it, it's ideal for that as well. It's more expensive than the other options on this list however it's one of the few that come with a rain cover included.
Five Frenchmen formed BabyZen with the goal of creating a lightweight stroller designed for urban use. The YOYO2 version is their most recent. The YOYO2 features a unique folding and unfolding system that is easy to do with one hand. It's also super compact and light and can be carried on the shoulder. It can be used from the moment of birth and has a bassinet that is suitable for babies. When your baby is old enough to be a toddler, it can be turned into an infant seat. You can also include a car seat to make it an entire travel system.
The YOYO2 is a great bike with suspension that can handle rough terrain and is easy to push. It comes with a huge storage basket, and a zip pocket that is large enough to fit your phone, wallet, or even snacks. It can be connected to other YOYOs to accommodate larger families. It's compatible with all Babyzen products, including a footmuff or an enormous shopping basket.
The only drawback of the YOYO2 is that it's not the best choice for long walks in the park or on cobblestones. It's a smooth and easy ride, but might not be as durable as a product designed for more rugged terrain. If you are planning to use it for short city walks or for running errands, then it will be able to do the job. The YOYO2 can easily fit in and out of my Honda Civic's boot and also fits in the footwell. It's also smaller than people's hand luggage making it perfect for flying with a baby.
Summer Infant 3D Lite
The Summer Infant 3D Lite is a light, feature-rich and compact stroller that folds down into a small package for easy transport and storage. It is the lightest stroller we tested and is among the top budget options available. It's not a great choice for an everyday stroller because it does not have a bassinet or car seat compatibility, but it is great for trips.
It is able to support a weight capacity of 50 pounds and can easily hold a toddler. The seat is positioned almost flat to allow for diaper changes or napping. The 5-point harness can be adjusted into three different height positions. There is a huge storage basket and cup holder for parents. The canopy features a peekaboo fabric-covered window and a separate pocket that is zippered to store smaller items.
The stroller, similar to the UPPAbaby G-Luxe can be used on smooth surfaces, but gets stuck in cracks when we test it on rough terrain. The wheels are plastic and have a higher frequency of vibration than the average for our test group. It has a shorter carrying strap than most of the strollers we tested, making it more difficult to carry when you're carrying a large bag.
The 3Dlite unfolds and folds down in just six seconds. There are a few steps to the process: raising the lever in the center of the back to release a latch, pushing down the latch on the right back side and then pushing the handles down. Although these aren't the fastest or most slow fold and unfold times of any stroller they are nevertheless pretty quick. It has handles that are quite taller which could be an issue for people who are smaller.
The biggest drawback of the Summer Infant 3D Lite is that it does not have a complete sunshade. It has a large canopy, but it does not provide much protection for your child when walking with them in the sun. It comes with a retractable visor that offers some protection when fully open, but does not cover the head of the child.
