Compact Pushchair Reviews
A compact and lightweight stroller can be the ideal choice for those who often travel via public transport or by car. They are easy to fold and store and less likely to be damaged by baggage handlers.
These lightweight travel strollers offer modern convenience and

Lightweight
The most compact pushchairs are light to carry and, more importantly, easy to fold. Often they have a simple one-handed fold and occupy less space when folded than full-size buggies. They are a good choice for those who don't have a lot of space in your home, or you're concerned about space restrictions when traveling.
Some have a tiny footprint when they are closed, which makes them perfect for small spaces. These are the best option for those who live in apartments or need something light and nimble for everyday walking. However, they can be uncomfortable for older children if you have to extend their legs in order to move around.
There are a variety of different fold styles available on the market and some are truly one-handed and others needing an extra effort or two hands to complete. Some are designed to be as compact as possible, meaning they will fit into the cabin baggage allowances on many flights or be carried on your back with a strap or handle.
If you're looking for a light pushchair, our favorite is the Silver Cross Dune. The Silver Cross Dune is a compact pushchair that offers all the thoughtful features and smart design that you would expect from this heritage brand. It also has a very easy-to-use fold, and like the Contours Itsy, it comes in a box that is fully assembled. It's a good choice for parents who plan to travel extensively with their infant and can be tucked away in the majority of car boot and trunk spaces.
The Cybex Mios is another option. It is a bridge between the two categories of pushchairs as a fully-functioning system with nimbleness. It can be used from birth in a parent-facing mode, but then switched to a world-facing mode as your child gets older, and it also has a decent recline that's suitable for napping. It's not as compact as the Libelle however it's a bit smaller and more comfortable to use on flat surfaces. It's not the best choice for rough terrain, however. Another benefit is its low price tag and excellent tests of durability.
Easy to store
The Joie Pact Pro is the ideal travel buggy, which folds up so small that it can fit into an overhead luggage compartment, and it weighs so little that you'll barely feel it in your car boot. It is also a good stroller to use for everyday use. Our tester Hollie found that it was easy to steer even when carrying a baby of just one year old. She was impressed by the adjustable handle as well as the lockable wheels and reclined seat. However, she noted that it was not very comfortable. But she also appreciates the fact that you can add additional features, such as an reversible, washable seat liner, rain cover, and an muff for the foot.
The Babyzen YOYO is a similarly compact foldable pushchair. It's not as sleek as the Cybex Libelle but it's still a great product that can be easily slid into trunks and car boot. It also gives more options for babies than other buggies, including the option of adding the bassinet or cot for newborns, plus a bespoke ride-on board for older kids and a tandem double seat adapter.
The YOYO is not the most compact buggy for driving on uneven or rough terrain. Its tiny wheels do not perform as well as other models we've test. It is still a very easily maneuverable pushchair, and YOYO is great at in narrow aisles and muddy paths. It's perfect for a city break or a holiday.
The Cosatto Bee6 is a compact travel buggy that comes with many features for a very low price. It can fold down to the size of a backpack and

Www.037810.Xyz making it an easy to cart on trains and planes. It's also easy to steer, and our MFM tester Matt found it an absolute joy to steer even with a toddler who was heavy was aboard. He also liked the hood, which comes down low enough to shield from rain and sun and help with naps. The only drawbacks are that it has no under-seat storage and you'll need to carry or hang a bag over the handlebar (against our expert advice!). You can also purchase an additional changing bag holder for this buggy to make it a fantastic holiday buggy.
Easy to Manoeuvre
Wheels on compact pushchairs could look small, yet they're usually quite efficient at navigating narrow aisles and rough terrain. The Micralite is a perfect example. Although it has small wheels, it can navigate bumpy pavements easily and turn swiftly on narrow roads, and tackle some light gravel with ease. It has a smooth steering system that is simple to operate with only one hand. It folds into a very neat and compact box that fits snugly into its accompanying bag for transport.
Most compact pushchairs are designed for toddlers and older infants, but an increasing number offer a lie-flat seating or the option to add an extra carrycot (or baby car seat) to allow them to be used from birth. These concertina or Z fold buggies are usually very lightweight, weighing only 6-8kg. They are also certified for use in the cabin by a number of airlines. MFM Editor Gemma says she has used it on a number of occasions and has found it easy to use and store.
If you're looking for a truly small fold one, the YOYO is the ultimate model in the compact category and was one of the first strollers of this kind. It's still a popular choice for parents who prefer it to its competitors due to its clever details and
037810.xyz superior functionality. It's an ideal choice for frequent travellers particularly if you want to avoid the hassle of waiting for baggage pickup and instead bring your stroller along with you.
The YOYO is also available in a compact size, which can be stuffed into the bag easily and with some space to spare. This makes it an ideal option for frequent travelers, especially those who need to carry a lot of stuff in their luggage. Plus it's incredibly versatile. You can purchase an array of accessories for it including baby bassinets, a bespoke ride-on board, and a twin travel bundles that turn it into a tandem. You can also buy a rain cover and hood to give you added security.
Confortable
Parents who want a light, compact pushchair that's easy to operate and fits into the trunk of their vehicle, our review expert, Hollie, recommends this Silver Cross model. Its maneuverability and reclining seats are among the best in our tests. It comes with a tray for parents and the storage basket which can be used to fit a small backpack and great sun cover options.
Some compact-fold strollers fold down so small that they're certified for use on planes by the cabin. This is a great advantage if you travel often or are limited in your car boot. They're typically lightweight so they're easy for you to carry. They are also able to be used in conjunction with an air travel system, if you select a version with a lie-flat seat, or a newborn 'pod'.
When looking for a trip, it's important to remember that not all buggy models are made equal. Certain manufacturers claim that their compact folding pushchairs are able to fold with one hand. Others may require more effort or two hands to fold it. Examine if the seat reclines. Some are flat, whereas others have a slight recline. This might be fine for toddlers, but not suitable for younger babies.
