Disturbing text messages, some of which discuss incest role-playing, allegedly show years of abuse and grooming by a Massachusetts cop who was charged with the murder of his pregnant girlfriend.

Matthew Farwell, 38, is accused of killing 23-year-old Sandra Birchmore in February 2021, within weeks of her telling him she was pregnant with his child.

Court documents viewed by DailyMail.com show alleged text messages revealing the two began their relationship when Birchmore was underage at just 15 years old and that Farwell continued to fantasize about having sex with her as if she was still a minor.

In a February 21, 2020 text exchange, Farwell allegedly described pinning Birchmore down during sex as part of his sick role-play fantasy and asked her: 'Will you say "Matt stop I'm 13 I'm not ready for this omfg please stop."'

Investigators also noted that Farwell asked her to pretend that he was her brother during their next sexual encounter, and that after he asked Birchmore how old she'd pretend to be, Farwell said, '14' along with a winking face emoji.

Massachusetts cop is charged with strangling pregnant woman to death

On that same day, the two allegedly discussed when they first started their sexual relationship and Farwell admitted he was interesting in having sex with Birchmore in 2012, when she was 14 years old.

'What was the first day you said omg I want this guy to be my first I want to feel him inside me,' Farwell said.

'Yeah so 2012 I finally decided that I was gonna try and find a way to f**k you and just wasn't sure how,' Birchmore replied.

'I absolutely would've fucked you in [2012],' said Farwell, according to the court documents.

Police claim Farwell, who is married with children, was motivated to kill her in order to prevent her from speaking out about the relationship, exposing not only a years-long extramarital affair, but alleged criminal conduct too.

Birchmore joined Stoughton Police Explorer's Program in 2010, which was dedicated to teaching young people about careers within law enforcement, when she was 12. Farwell was an instructor with the program.

On June 19, 2020, Birchmore and Farwell allegedly texted about his past sexual abuse of her and admitted he could have made her do anything he wanted.

'Lol if I pushed I absolutely could've f****d you without condoms from day one,' Farwell said, according to authorities.

'Probably if you really pushed it,' said Birchmore. 'I was kinda scared to say no in the beginning not knowing how you'd take it so yeah you would've got no comdoms [sic] lol.'

When Birchmore learned she was pregnant in late 2020, she drew the father-to-be a card to celebrate.

'Congrats, we are going to be parents! 2021,' the text read. It was adorned with rainbow coloring in and stickers of animals.

Text messages revealed the former cop had a penchant for choking the young woman and acted out incestuous role-play fantasies with her

The 23-year-old sent a picture of the card to Farwell, which prompted an argument over if he would sign the birth certificate.

'You are truly the worst person on the face of the earth,' Farwell told Birchmore.

Birchmore was three-months pregnant when she was found dead inside her home in 2021.

Her death was initially believed to be a suicide, but a pathologist who was hired by her family disagreed with that assessment and argued that she had been murdered.

Police now allege Farwell 'staged her body and apartment to make it appear as if Birchmore committed suicide.'
