The stroller also has an ample storage space under the seat and a shoulder strap to make it easier to carry around when you're not pushing it. The canopy adjustment can be loud, which could disturb the sleep of a child.
1. Contours Itsy
The Contours Itsy is a compact stroller that has a variety of features for its size. The back basket under the seat is equipped with a spring-loaded mechanism, allowing you to push the basket down to place bags for diapers or backpacks and it will then pop up to secure the contents. It also has a child's accessory holder as well as an adjustable seat pad that reclines. This is more than what you find on a typical lightweight stroller.
In addition, it has a great canopy that can be opened and close to give you the level of sun protection you require, and the handlebar is adjustable in height four positions for a comfortable fit. We weren't too impressed by its performance on rough terrain. We felt that the suspension and wheels did not do a great job of absorbing bumps and shocks.
It's a great stroller for travel because it comes in a box that is fully assembled and requires only a few steps to get it in use. The seat can be moved forward and backwards to alter the recline which is essentially flat. Two buttons on the frame allow it to fold and unfold. It also fits into an extremely convenient bag for carrying when not in use. In fact, it's one of the most compact strollers we tested, and it easily fulfills the requirements of most airlines for cabin storage or gate-checking on airplanes. 2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus
This stroller is a great choice for those who need an easy-to-travel stroller. It comes with all the features parents look for in a stroller. It comes with all-terrain tires and front suspension for smooth riding. It is also incredibly lightweight, at less than 12 pounds. It folds with one hand and stands up on its own. It has two cup holders on each tray for the parent and child.
Its build quality isn't very high, and it did not perform well in our maneuverability test. It has a flexible frame, which makes pushing it across rough surfaces feel like lifting heavy weights. This might be fine when you use the stroller on smooth paths, but for the majority of people, it will likely not provide a comfortable experience.
Cloud Plus Cloud Plus has a three-tier extended canopy and a peek-a-boo window for added sun protection. Its multi-position seat can be used by children up to 50 pound and uses the 5-point safety restraint system. This is an excellent feature for older toddlers who have outgrown infant car seats.
It's small and folds up in a single step. It can be folded by pressing the button. It also has a convenient, foot-activated break that is easy to set up and release.
The handle is lower than the majority of the strollers we have tested however some parents may be uncomfortable using it for long periods of time. The handle is locked in place when it's opened. This is an excellent feature to have if are planning to use the stroller over uneven or muddy terrain.
3. Munchkin Sparrow
The Munchkin Sparrow stroller is the ideal stroller for parents who are always on the move. The compact stroller is a breeze to fold down and up and easily fits in overhead compartments on planes as well as in trunks at the amusement park (no worries about parking charges). It comes with a carry bag which zips up for easy storage. It is able to be used from birth with the infant car seat adapter and provides a decent amount of sun protection by way of its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only downside for some parents is that they find the look cheap and utilitarian.
The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a bit more expensive than the other single strollers with lightweights, but it was designed specifically for luxurious urban living and travel. It is among the strollers that fold easily, and comes with a convenient carry case. It's got plenty of storage space as well as a cupholder. The seat reclines nearly flat for both the child and adult. This is the only stroller on our list that can be used by infants with the car seat adapter. The handlebar isn't adjustable and could pose an issue for some parents who are small.
The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the most lightweight stroller, but it comes with a number of amazing features that make traveling with children easier. The large seat reclines to a flat position, and comes with extra padding so that the naps on planes last longer. The canopy extends to provide good sun protection, while the parent tray has plenty of storage. It also features an adjustable handle that doubles as a footrest when folded. This footrest, however is prone to damage by baggage handlers.

In our testing, the Minu was a breeze to fold and move around, even with a baby in the hand. Its squat, almost square fold, which unfolds into thirds, is among the most straightforward in our tests and allows it to easily fit in overhead compartments on planes or in public transportation. 5. Joovy Aire
Joovy is a well-known stroller brand that makes various models. This lightweight model is a great choice for parents looking for an all-purpose stroller that can carry kids around, offers ample storage, is easy to maneuver and doesn't require an engineering degree to fold. This model is not suitable for those looking for a double stroller or a car seat compatible model. It doesn't accept infant car seats. Your children must be able to sit up on their backs before they can use it.
This stroller is loaded with features and comes at a reasonable price. It scored a higher rating in our review of maneuverability than other strollers with similar specs, and is an excellent choice for smooth paved surfaces.
