The
Best Twin BuggyDesigned to grow with your family This inline
double buggy from birth comes with various seating options and is suitable for twins or children of different ages. Its foam-filled rubber tires never go flat and its soft suspension makes light work of the kerbs.
It's easy to travel since it folds flatly, and it meets the weight requirements of gate-checks for airlines. It also comes with an enormous under-seat storage basket, and the sun canopy is four panels.
Leclerc Influencer
With its sleek design, auto-fold and cabin-approved dimensions, the Leclerc Influencer is a fantastic choice for travelers. Its folded (and unfolded) width is 47cm, which slightly exceeds the IATA standard of 45cm but it still complies with the regulations of hand luggage for airlines and can be stored in overhead lockers during flights (Subject to Airline Approval). It was easy to clean with just a wipe down, and there were many extras available, including footmuffs, nappy and buggy bags that are strapped to the handles and hoods that provide UV50and protection.
It's easy to move up and down stairs, and it can fit through tight spaces such as narrow streets, shops and Jane's terrace house. The bumper bar doubles as a carry handle, and there's an ample, flip-flop-friendly brake with a colour indicator. The basket is smaller than the other models, but it will still hold a large changing bag. There are also additional trays to store snacks, drinks and toys.
It's suitable from the moment of birth and can be combined with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat with adaptors (sold separately). The innovative backrest can be flattened to allow for long walks or naps. The magnetic 5-point harness makes it simple to use. It's also extremely light, weighing just 6.6kg. A travel bag is included.
Joie Evalite Duo
The British brand Joie has a mission to "share the joy of new parents" by creating pushchairs which are "functional, stylish and innovative". The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is Joie's latest product. It's designed to accommodate two kids side-by-side, unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has raised stadium-style seating so both kids can be able to see the world around them.
The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg, making it one of the most lightweight strollers for children on the market. It's suitable from birth and can be used with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's easy to fold or lift, drive, and ride. The clever frame expands to accommodate a second child seat.
Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding feature is an absolute highlight. They were impressed by how quickly and effortlessly the Evalite Duo comes together. They did notice that it was more difficult to navigate rough surfaces and bumps as compared to other models.
The front seat can't fully recline, and parents were forced to use their own hands to lower it. This is something they'd prefer to avoid when traveling with children. However, they believe that the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that could be perfect with some tweaks. They also love that it's so compact and small when folded!
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that gives parents all the options they require. It is compatible with a variety of car seats and folds up easily with a single click. It comes with a variety of additional features, such as liners and raincovers. The rival brands charge a separate fee for these.
iCandy Peach is a favourite among parents who are fashion conscious due to its fashionable and modern jersey fabric. The new 2022 Peach is updated with a few minor tweaks to improve performance and functionality without sacrificing style.
One of the biggest changes to the latest Peach is the addition of a ride-onboard, which makes it a fantastic option for twins. It is also a little smaller than the previous Peach model, but it still provides all the space your child may require.
This is a great double stroller for those who want something sleek and versatile. It can be used as a single pram right from birth, and then purchase a
nipper double buggy kit to turn it into a twin buggy. It also comes with a large basket and five recline positions to provide maximum comfort for your children. It also has an integrated carry strap as well as a one-handed folding mechanism. The only drawback is that it's quite heavy to carry around when you aren't using it particularly since it folds in two parts instead of one.
iCandy Orange
This is one of the most popular twin buggies. The seats can be outfitted with liners and footmuffs that keep your children warm in cold winter months. The carrycot is easy to attach using the side flaps that open to allow for gate opening. It is large and comfortable. The seat and carrycot are set up in various configurations, and the Orange chassis has an amazing 30 combinations.
The wheels are optimised to withstand rough and paved ground and there's a hefty shopping basket underneath which is ideal for big supermarket shops. This pushchair is comfortable to drive and has a light feel, and the rounded pedal brake is easy to use (but not flip-flop friendly). The latch that holds it folded requires two hands to unlock. After it's folded, the front wheels tuck under the basket and the chassis can free-stand easily.
The Orange is a fantastic choice for parents who are style-conscious and have a baby, toddler or both. They want a buggy which will expand with their child. It's also a good option for parents who are expecting another child in the near future and want a movable double pushchair. The iCandy Orange may not be cheap but its versatility could ensure it will last for a long time and increase its resale price. It's also possible to equip it with a buggy, which should reduce the amount of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
The company was founded by a New Zealander, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group that also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first brand of prams that focuses on all-terrain double pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is sleek and slim, able to fit through doors and easily maneuver around tight shopping aisles. It is one the smallest and most feature-packed double buggies available and has been awarded numerous awards including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
The narrow seats are large enough for children of different ages to sit together comfortably, and the seats are reclineable so kids can choose their preferred position. The large canopies come with flick-out sun visors and the storage basket is extremely spacious. It works with almost all brands and accepts two adapters for infant car seats when you purchase car seats.
The only downside is the weight. It is hefty at 32.4 lbs and may be difficult to lift out and into of the trunk for Grandma. It's priced higher than other double buggies. However, it has been designed to last and offers numerous features for the price. It is a great choice for urban parents who wish to avoid lugging a bulky stroller around. The padding of the harnesses, the 5-point buckle and straps that are padded ensure that it is safe for infants.
Bugaboo Donkey Twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a beautiful, functional buggy with an elegant design. It's a good product, but not without flaws.
It offers very few extra amenities, both for kids and parents. The only thing that is provided by the side bin is that it is only available when one seat in the car is connected. There are no cup holders, parent tray or accessory pockets. This could be a problem during long journeys.
The seats also don't recline to a very flat position, and the gap between them is a bit wide and our 5-year-old had trouble lying back with ease.
