Its swappable bean hoppers allow you to try different blends on the fly and its profiles mean that you can continue where you left beginning. It's also cheaper than capsule machines, and uses real beans instead of pre-ground beans.

image1. Smeg BCC02

Created by Milan-based firm Deep Design, this sleek compact and striking machine pairs the unique retro style of the brand with modern technology. It takes care of every step of the coffee-making process, from grinding beans and shaping them into a puck, to mixing milk and dispense the correct amount of coffee - meaning you can make barista-quality hot drinks with the click of a button.

The machine also features an elegant brushed aluminium front and comes in a variety of red, black or taupe, meaning it's a great fit for most kitchen designs. There are some flaws, however: most users found it to be a bit expensive for a bean to cup coffee machine offers-to-cup maker. cup maker (and it doesn't come with an insulated milk pitcher).

There were also many glowing reviews of this machine's ease of use and the quality of its coffee. The digital display is intuitive and provides step-by-step guidance and feedback throughout the entire brewing process, helping you perfect your drink every time. The machine will even tell you to alter the grind size, should you decide that's not what want. It's like having a personal barista at home (minus Elon Musk's rocket building abilities and Harry Potter's invisible cape).

This model is perfect for those who enjoy milky drinks. The steam wand is adjustable upwards and downwards to fit a variety of drinking vessels, except Viking drinking horns. We were also impressed by the speed and efficiency in which the frothing was done. It makes a delicious, full-flavoured espresso with a wonderful crema.

The BCC02 is a fantastic all-rounder that's quiet, efficient and provides great value for money, especially at its current price of PS499. Its only real drawback is the fact that it doesn't provide the same level of customisation as some of the other bean-to-cups we've tried. Its pump has 15 bars instead of the usual 19 bars. This isn't enough for producing top-quality espressos. Other than that it's a fantastic bean-to-cup machine for those who like their coffee strong and black. 2. Melitta Barista TS Smart

The Barista TS Smart is a superb bean-to-cup machine that has numerous features that set it out from the competition. Its most unique characteristic is that it can be controlled from your smartphone through the Melitta Connect app. This lets you alter the settings and dispense various coffee recipes stored in the machine.

This makes the machine super flexible and adaptable to your preferences. There are many ways to alter the strength of your beverage, cup sizes and even whether you'd like milk to be added. The machine also comes with two airtight bean containers that are automatically selected for different types of coffee. It defaults to standard espresso beans in one and cafe crem (a German variation of long black or flat white) in the other, but you can choose the beans you prefer. There's also a convenient chute for pre-ground coffee in case you'd prefer to make your own (for instance in the event that your dinner guest brings their own).

Users have also said they are amazed by the speed of the machine. It is faster than any other machine they have ever used. The machine will also inform you if one of its hoppers is almost empty. This way, you won't be able to drink your favorite drink.

The price may be a problem for some. It's not cheap, costing nearly PS999. It is still cheaper than similar Jura machines that have the same number features.

Barista TS smart is protected by a generous two-year warranty. This is a longer warranty than the typical one-year warranty. It's a sign of confidence on behalf of the manufacturer. It also comes with a cleaning tablet and a descaler, which makes it simple to keep up to date with the machine's needs for maintenance. This is an excellent machine for those who are looking for a top-quality and flexible bean to cup machine that's affordable.

3. Jura GIGA 6

The Jura GIGA 6 is a powerful espresso machine that uses artificial intelligence to create the finest specialty coffees. It learns what you like and reorganizes its menu to help you select your preferred drinks. You can also select your preferred grind size, water temperature and milk and coffee foam volumes. Another great feature of the Giga 6 is that you can customize and duplicate your favourite coffees. This is particularly beneficial for those who drink the same coffee in the morning and evening.
