Sage Coffee Machines
Sage coffee machines come with a built in burr grinder that has a dial for adjusting the amount of ground beans. The beans are dispensed directly into the portafilter. They also have the ability to pre-infuse with low pressure and a 9 bar extraction system that guarantees the best espresso flavour.
Make sure to firmly crush the coffee with the tamper, and then secure the group head before choosing the single or double shot. Then steam the milk using the automatic steam wand and enjoy your cafe-style coffee at your home!
Barista Express
The Barista Express is a high-quality espresso maker that makes the cafe experience at home. It's packed with features that will help people improve their abilities. But, it also has options to help beginners make good shots quickly. It is a little more expensive than some of the other models we have tested, but it offers the highest quality of performance.
The machine is equipped with a thermocoil which rapidly heats up and allows for smooth transitions between the brewing process and the process of vaporizing. It is among the few machines to make that perfect layer of steamed milk to make lattes, which can be difficult to do without a lot of practice. This feature was an important consideration for us, because we were looking for the machine that could produce the rich and creamy cafe-style coffee we enjoy. The Barista Express was able to do this, but it took longer than other models we reviewed.
It comes with a massive tank that can hold the equivalent of 67 pounds. It is easy to refill and comes with an integrated water filter which helps to remove impurities, keeping your coffee fresh. The machine is very easy to clean, which is another important feature. It is recommended to remove the machine every 3 to 5 months to prevent the buildup of minerals on the internal components.
The Barista Express, like the other Breville machines that we test, is specifically designed to help users practice their skills. This means that the machine does not come with some of the more advanced features found in other Breville models, such as a display to show you the amount of water and pressure are being used, and an automatic milk frother. But this doesn't mean that the Barista Express isn't a great alternative for coffee lovers who want to upgrade from their current home espresso machine.
This model comes with 4 portsafilters, which include both the pressurized and unpressurized versions. It also includes a high-quality tamper that is conveniently stored on the machine. The tamper comes with a broad range of adjustments, which lets you achieve the perfect amount of pressure on your grounds when you shoot. It also has a pre-infusion low-pressure stage that can help to smooth out the grind and allow for an efficient extraction at 9 bar pressure.
Dual Boiler
This machine was created by Sage (or Breville worldwide) for those who want coffee that is cafe-quality at home. It has two features that set it apart from other machines. It firstly, it has a bottomless portafilter which gives the espresso shot a nice appearance and lets you determine how much pre-infusion occurred. It also comes with a manual switch that keeps the machine in the pre-infusion mode until you press it again. This is an amazing feature that resembles how baristas at cafes operate and makes it easy to pull great shots each time.
It also comes with an indicator for the pressure of steam, which is pretty cool, and the ability to adjust the pre-infusion power to suit different extraction times. This is a feature that isn't available on standard machines, but can make a huge difference in the consistency of your shots. It also has a convenient window that displays the level of water so you know when it's time to refill.
This model is different from other Sage models due to its an double boiler system. This allows you to make a steam while brewing and is perfect for milk-based drinks. It also has a PID that lets you control the temperature of the brew, which is something not available on other machines. The only drawback to this is that it costs more than single boilers or heat exchanger systems.
The EB590 also comes with a variety of other features. It can be programmed to ensure that it turns on at a certain time, so that it's there for you at the time you want it. This is an amazing feature that isn't available on many other machines and is a huge benefit for people who rely on their coffee maker to wake them up in the morning.
It also has an automatic standby mode as well as an auto shutoff that are both very useful features for energy efficiency. The auto shutoff feature is especially beneficial, since it will automatically switch off after one hour of inactivity. This can save you money on your electricity bill as well as preserving the longevity of the device.
Oracle
Sage coffee machines are designed with the user in mind and this is evident in their selection of machines. They have realised that not everyone can take on the challenges of barista-style espresso making and so their machines aim to automate the process as much as is possible while allowing users to be involved in the extraction and processing of the milk to create cappuccino and latte art. Many of their models also come with a built-in grinder or are compatible with a stand alone model for a complete beans to cup experience.
The Oracle is an excellent example. It comes with the dazzling Sage Dual Boiler as its base, and utilizes it to produce excellent espresso. It includes automatic dosing and tamping to milk texture and eliminates the need for barista expertise at any level. It also includes additional features, such as the ability to program pouring settings and the triple heat system. The disadvantage is that it's one of the more expensive
uk coffee makers machines for domestic use on the market.
If you are looking for a less expensive Sage machine, then the Duo Temp Pro might be worth a look. It does not have the App based technology and pressure gauge of the Oracle but it is still a great bean to cup machine. It comes with a large tank of water that can be used to filter coffee and ground coffee. It also has steam wands, as well as a digital display. Its heat up time of three seconds is impressive. Most commercial machines take longer to reach the temperature required for extraction.
The Sage Precision Brewer is the latest addition to their range of filter coffee makers and even though it's at the top end of the cost spectrum for a home coffee machine it comes with some distinctive and extremely useful features that distinguish it from its competition. It comes with several fittings on the brew basket to ensure that it can be used with different filters. The cone inside can be removed to allow you to reuse the filter. It also has a handy timer to set it the night before to make a quick jug in the morning. The automatic milk texturing feature is a great feature too, it can be adjusted to suit your taste to make a smooth or frothy brew.
