Al Roker has revealed his tips for hitting his daily step goals after walking 100 miles in 19 days while braving the cold and Theanex Price snow in New York.

The Today star, 69, reached his goal on Friday after taking on the Start Today team's challenge to walk 100 miles this month, which comes out to about 6,500 steps a day.

Roker crossed the 100-mile mark almost two weeks early while also celebrating walking 10,000 steps or more a day for the past 90 days.

'I have cleared 100 miles as of Friday, which was very exciting,' the weatherman announced in an update he shared on Instagram over the weekend.
