Throughout history, students from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds have had to work harder and strive to attain the same educational and occupational opportunities as the majority of their peers. Over the years, numerous youth programs have evolved to support students of diverse backgrounds. The idea of diversity training programs is to promote education among minority groups and encourage them to come forward and develop careers for themselves. This interactive, learning program experience has been tailored for the children of medical support staff coming from diverse backgrounds.

Diversity training programs seek to emphasize the benefits of working with a culturally rich team:



Recognize that diversity will bring a better skill base when managed properly.

Improve staff morale by reducing conflicts and improve retention.

The youth scholarship program, which runs for six weeks from the date of Commencement, is for those who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine and healthcare. The program offers weekend classes in CPR, First Aid, Computer Skills, Web Design and nutrition; and gives vital exposure to hospital settings such as the Simulation Lab, Chemistry labs, Pathology labs, etc. Students build confidence through the various opportunities to explore different aspects of healthcare.

This youth program offers a personalized, general scholarship and educational support to promising students who wish to make a fruitful career for themselves in any field. Scholars come from all racial and ethnic backgrounds and from rural, suburban and urban communities throughout the United States. The selection for this scholarship program is based on the fulfillment of the following prerequisites:


Academic ability and achievement: since the scholarship is awarded to a limited number of students, it is essential that applicants have a solid academic record.

Financial need: For those with limited family income and insufficient funds to cover significant out-of-pocket, education-related expenses, the scholarship is a good option to get the required education.

Persistence: Determination and perseverance in the face of adversity, the ability to set and remain focused on goals, and the will to put in the effort needed to meet those goals in the face of obstacles are sought-after qualities.

Desire to help others: Purposeful and Best Private University meaningful commitment to others which may be evidenced by participation in volunteering and community service activities.
