What to Do With Your Rep Kit

Rep kits are a great means to repair your gear until you are at the trailhead to have it fixed professionally. The key is knowing what to do when you require it.

Tools

Being equipped with the right tools is critical when in the field. This kit was designed with this in mind and includes all the basic hand tools needed for repairing items on the field. The tools are made of metal and feature only a small amount of plastic to withstand use. If you've got holes or two in your gear, consider adding adhesive patches to your rep kit. These patches are made of an ultra-high-performance adhesive that is applied to a durable polyurethane backing that allows the tear to heal under pressure. Available in clear and colored options they offer a long-lasting protection against abrasions, moisture, saltwater, sunlight and temperatures that are extreme.
