We can't wait to see you again! When lockdown hit and all shows were cancelled for the foreseeable we weren't too sure what to do next with West Didsbury Comedy Festival. After a few weeks of crying I dusted myself down and decided to get some shows out online and to make the most of the situation. I joined MC Chris Brooker throughout a lot of the show as we introduced some brilliant new-ish acts, plus the amazing Micky P Kerr who closed the show. Renowned on the circuit for his quick wit and beautifully crafted material I am personally a big fan of Tony and his work! Something of a Twitter sensation, Tony's jokes turn up in all sorts of places, from greetings cards to The Times newspaper, even if you've never heard of him there's a good chance that you'll have laughed at one of his gags. LEE JONES is both the owner of ROFL comedy club and also the owner of both WBU and WBF World Boxing Titles. Its a fascinating discussion about boxing (I know literally nothing about it, but how often do you talk to a world champion!) and how Lee ended up with first a comedy club in Burslam and now currently ROFL in Newcastle Under Lyme. It’s a lovely chat with one of the nicest and most generous guys in comedy. Any Matthews is a stand up comedian living in Edinburgh, based in Glasgow during lockdown and originally for Leigh-On-Sea. We actually manage a fairly normal chat about comedy in the most part, how she got into, some brilliant Edfringe tips, her style and how she writes.
