During our tests the Dreame L30 Ultra was very efficient at removing dirt. There were only a handful of misses. It was able get into tight corners and under furniture despite its size. It had a little trouble with stains that were older than one day, but it did a fantastic job at removing pet dander and fine hair.
It has an inbuilt nozzle that sprays soap and water directly onto the floor. This is a great method to keep floors clean between mopping sessions. It also has a large capacity tank that can hold up to 2.5L of water, giving it enough power to complete a cleaning session in a room.

The app also adds extra functionality, including the ability to automatically clean your mop pad after each vacuuming session, or to switch to mopping wet when it detects an area that has particularly sticky dirt. You can also choose from different mapping modes and have your mops automatically refilled when they run out of water, or switched to a spare mops when they become dirty.
Although the app offers many functions to the Dreame L30 Ultra, it has some limitations. The obstacle recognition system, for example, is a little overzealous and could flag things as obstructions which aren't actually blocking its route. This was especially evident on carpets, as the edges of the rug were often mistaken for obstacles.
The application takes a while to recognize new cleaning tasks, and you'll have to manually switch between cleaning modes before it can start working. This is a minor annoyance however it's something to consider in the event that you intend to use the Dreame L30 Ultra regularly.
Mops Extend
