The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better as its spinning pads scrub floors more effectively than the vibrating pads.
The only issue is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's a small price to pay if you want to get one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.
In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch television without interruption. If it comes across the wall or a piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and then moves along.
What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the hidden bin, as well as washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something requires attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.

These are nice features but they also push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
