The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to map out your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the push of the button. You can choose an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do and can remove pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better as its spinning pads scrub floors more effectively than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's a small price to pay if you want to get one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch television without interruption. The app is good at notifying you when something requires attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine rooms to modify the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum and mop in 1 was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.
