While the Anker-owned Eufy has made its name in the field of low-cost robot vacuums, it hasn't previously offered an all-in-one model that could also mop. The X8 Hybrid is a new model that has a wide range of features that are advanced and can compete with more expensive models.
The laser navigation is the most important feature of this machine. The previous Eufy devices have built up an outline of your home using infrared sensors and bumping into things however the X8's laser mapping technology is much more accurate. It takes less time to create a comprehensive map of your home and can store multiple maps. This is perfect for multi-floored homes.
The X8 is a good vacuum cleaner for floors with no dust. It is able to effortlessly sling debris under the side brushes and into its 400ml dust bin. The tyres are adept at securing corners and edges even though they are circular. Our tests showed that it could only remove 90 percent of the fur from hard floors.
The basic mopping mode uses the same water reservoir as the vacuuming mode. While this is great for spills that are not too large however, you aren't able to regulate the amount of water it is using and this will reduce its effectiveness on more severe staining. That said, it does an admirable job of picking up pet hair, with a better pickup rate than the Roborock S7.
3. Miele RX2
Known for quietly effective
home robot vacuum appliances, Miele's RX2 robot vacuum comes with outstanding cleaning power, stunning design and excellent navigation. It has a few oddities in its operation that keep it from being considered the best smart robot vacuum.
The RX2 is equipped with a dual-sensor mapping technique which uses LIDAR to map an area and a pair of 3D scanning cameras for detecting and avoiding obstacles (such as furniture legs or pet waste). Once mapped the app allows you to create virtual no-go zones as well as favorite sections that the robot will clean automatically. You can also initiate a manual clean or manually change the cleaning mode, view a live feed from the cameras onboard and more on the main screen.
The RX2's sensors are effective in registering furniture and other obstructions in real-time. Its composite score for carpet and bare flooring was higher than the competition, and it picked up 98.5 percent of surface litter and embedded dog hair from our lab test samples.
Its controls are a bit more basic than the competitors. There's an oblong cleaning button at the top, and you can start it from the app, or by voice commands using Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also set up a schedule for daily or weekly cleaning, set areas that are not allowed to be cleaned, and check its cleaning history. Covered in stylish dark gray plastics, Ion feels sturdy and is attractive in your home. Its rear dustbin is easily accessible for emptying, and taking out the filters is also easy.
5. Eufy 11S
If you're looking to buy a basic low-cost robot vacuum for a reasonable price, the Eufy 11S might be your best bet. The model isn't equipped with smart features like Alexa integration and digital mapping found in higher-end models. However, if you don't require these features, you can save money.
This robot is easy to use and set up. It doesn't require a smartphone app or Wi-Fi connection, however it does have a remote control that lets you select various modes and adjust the suction level. It also lets you manually turn off the robovac on a scheduled cleaning.

It also recommends cleaning the dustbin regularly replacing the filters, and washing or changing the brushes as required.

The Roomba is iRobot’s flagship robot vacuum. It's expensive, but it's top-performing and is arguably the most sophisticated robot vacuum you can purchase. Its self-navigating capabilities and environmental mapping are a wonder to behold. It is more sophisticated in its automation than its competitors, including the capability to set up virtual boundary markers with its mobile app. It's a dependable robot vacuum, even though its app isn't the most responsive and the 980 spins out when it is pushed over cables.
