The S8+ uses a LIDAR mapping system to map your home, and it sends a detailed coverage map to the companion app at the end of each vacuuming session. It can use this map to determine automatically the most efficient route and avoid obstacles. In my tests this was a huge success, and the S8+ was able to navigate around even the most difficult obstacles.
The S8+ makes use of a vibrating pad for mopping hard floors. It's an excellent choice for carpets with high pile who do not want to handle traditional vacuuming. The mopping pad will be automatically lifted and then emptied when it is finished. This means that there won't be any sticky spills or ugly plastic mats left behind. The robot docks and automatically cleans and dries the scrubbing pads to prevent them from accumulating odors and bacteria.
Although it doesn't come with an inbuilt camera but the S8+ is still an excellent option for those who are looking for a robot that can handle vacuuming and mopping in a single go. It has a staggering 6,000 Pascals of suction power, and has an advanced navigation system that can avoid obstacles and even identify the occurrence of messes. The S8+ has a streamlined dock that takes care of emptying the dirt tank and water tank, and
robots that Vacuum and Mop then recharging the mop pad when required.
The S8+ is a bit on the pricey side however, it's also one of the most capable robots that mop and vacuum available. If the S8+ isn't in your price range then you can choose the Roborock S8 standard ($749 on Amazon) It's 600 dollars less expensive and does not include a docking station.
Braava Jet m6
Similar to iRobot Roomba robot vacuum cleaners, this robot mop also comes with its own special cleaning solution. You can set the frequency at which you want it to spray water onto your floor and choose from three preset mopping modes Standard balances the power of cleaning with area covered, while Deep boosts the power, but limits the coverage to get at stuck-on messes. Finally, Extended Coverage allows for a quick sweep over larger areas without getting messy.
The m6 is small, quiet and can be used when doing other chores in the house. It uses iAdapt 3.0 navigation with vSLAM to understand the design of your home, and create personal Smart Maps that direct it to specific areas. These maps allow you to set virtual barriers, referred to as Keep Out Zones, and get greater control over cleaning tasks.
In our tests we found that the Braava Jet m6 performed excellent job in moving and mowing our test floor. It cleaned all types of spills we tried, including food-colored water, honey and mud, leaving very minimal debris left on the pads. It was also quite effective in our hallway, which has a lot of doors that open to it.
The app is easy to use and easy to understand. It's also a nice touch that the m6 is able to work in conjunction with iRobot Roomba vacuum cleaners, and will return to its home after vacuuming and continue the mopping process where it stopped. The app is where you'll see all the scheduled mopping tasks and the maps of your home created by iRobot's Imprint Mapping Technology.
It also has a feature that lets you change the direction in which the robot cleans and allows it to move in a different direction or skip a specific part of your floor. This is helpful in the event of furniture or other objects that can hinder the robot's progress and prevent it from reaching all your floors. The m6 is also compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. You can use voice commands to arrange it to clean if you'd like.
Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo robot vacuum and mop is a durable machine that can tackle the majority of messes by itself. Roborock Q Revo's durable industrial plastic shell wraps the battery in a circular shape, along with a front bumper, and charging contacts for its removable dust tank. The hood flips up to reveal the tank for cleaning and a QR code for adding it to your Roborock app (which is one of the best-equipped smart home apps available).
The app is free and lets you customize the Q Revo and schedule it after you add it to your calendar. It can be set to clean on a regular basis or on a certain day of the week, and you can also select among a range of cleaning intensities. You can also specify whether the robot-vac is to vacuum or mop, and it gives you options to recognize carpets and specify how it should react. It can be set to charge at times when it is not in use to conserve energy and lessen the strain on your electrical grid.
The Q Revo's navigation as well as cleaning features that are based on the LiDAR technology that is proprietary, are its biggest strengths. It detects obstacles like cords and small objects which is great, especially when you have children or pets that can create a mess in a hurry. It also uses Reactive Tech to lift its mop heads whenever it encounters carpet and is a nice addition.
The Q Revo is an excellent vacuum for picking up debris on hard floors. It has strong suction power and the dual mops are very effective at removing dried-on messes. The mops can even rub off stubborn, dried food stainings that other mop-only robot cleaners have trouble with. The mops won't be able to clean up fresh spills, it's better to use a cloth to clean these messes.
One of the coolest features about the Q Revo is its auto-empty dock, which emptys the bin of the robo-vac into a disposable bag and empties and refills the cleaning tanks. The dock also washes and dries mop pads and then refills the tank with clean water. The large mop and cleaner tanks can cover up to 400 square feet and are easy to maintain.

The Dyson A11 is an excellent mop and vacuum. It gives excellent results on a variety of surfaces. It's a great option for those who are seeking to cut down on time while also mopping and vacuuming at same at the same time. It has a swivel head and is easy to maneuver on hard floors. It is also lightweight and compact making it easy to store. It's also a good option for those who have pets. It's able to effortlessly remove pet hair off floors and also has strong suction for carpets with high and low piles. It's also a good option for those who have many stairs, because it is able to easily climb them.
The A11 offers a variety of features and tools that make it an excellent option for mopping and vacuuming. It includes turbo tools and a crevice brush. It also has a wand-mounted tool clip that allows you to easily install and use the tools. It also has a wall-mounting docking station which holds a few other tools for easy access.
Another great feature is its intelligent capabilities that let you control it using your voice via Google Assistant or Alexa or via the iRobot OS app.
