Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customised using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your house, organize cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.
A mapping feature aids your robot navigate through rooms while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These features are vital in my house filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum cleaner, so it's a natural choice to be packed with features. It's able to both sweep and mop in one session and even raise its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It also can avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is more than 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has an
automatic vacuum and mop robot mop lifting system which will lift the pad when it goes from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent soaking these types of soft surfaces.
Additionally, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsed and heat-dried within the dock, and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. This means you can just set it and forget it, and only need to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for about 160 minutes before beginning to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've tried.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's costly. The sheer amount of features make it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its price is justified by its robust features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the house. It was able to remove 98.4% debris on any type of floor and was able to lift hair that was long without tangling. The mops were also great in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.
The docking station is the real selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag for dirt, then refills the water tank for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It also has an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and lets you schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the
best robot vacuum and mop performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station, dustbag, and water tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to note that the mop pads which are bought separately will need to be replaced regularly too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a tight budget, I recommend a more basic model that will allow you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could purchase, its high price and ongoing maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your hard floors. This high-powered robovac and mop combo packs a strong suction power of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery that can be used for both mowing and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle-avoiding. It even has mop rollers that clean itself as it moves and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean in order to wash off the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the
robot vacuum best and is continuously dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes, or swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements and is poured into a larger storage container. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water and can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets, the S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. The S1 Pro will need to be filled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the
cleaning robot mop and vacuum dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own cleaner. However, if you do opt for this feature you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map out a area and was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs in my tests, but this may be fixed when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner however it has some outstanding features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The software that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine you've set up. There are a number of mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the space.
Like the other Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized fashion.
