How to Unlock Zeus in Hearthstone
Zeus is a god of enormous dimensions and a powerful personality. He offers some of the most powerful boons in the game.
His Duo Boons are very strong, especially when you have builds that are crit-happy. Start with Artemis for big spins and Dionysus for dash-strike in order to get more crits.
1. Talk to Zeus
Each Infernal Arm in Hades has its own Hidden Aspect, which, once removed, will completely change the moveset and passive capabilities. These aspects are based on a particular hero or historical figure and each one has its own story.
Zeus, the King of Olympus and god of the sky, is among the most intriguing aspects of Hades. He frequently mentions that his daughter is missing, yet Zeus seems to be giddy in her disappearance. He knows what is happening to Persephone and would like her to come back on Mount Olympus.
He even goes as far as to ask Zagreus to declare to Hades that he forgives him, causing anger to the Olympian God of the Underworld. This is a very sly act especially when you consider that Zeus kidnapped the daughter of his father.
2. Hermes is available for chat
Zeus is a god of thunder and the sky, he was one of the Titans who rebelled against their tyrannical rule. Zeus along with his brothers, fought in the Titan War and won a stunning victory. After the war, he created lots to determine how the world was to be ruled. He was granted the Heavens, Poseidon the Sea and Hades the Underworld.
Zeus helps his nephew Zagreus escape the Underworld and will often talk about how he could join the other Olympians in Mount Olympus. He doesn't realize that Zagreus really wants to connect with his birth mother, Persephone.
Zeus can provide some fantastic boons which are very helpful in battle, especially his Chain Lightning and Lightning Strike abilities. You'll receive an Chthonic Companion that can be upgraded to Level 5 by using Ambrosia. To raise your chances of Zeus appearing, you can equip his Lambent Plume Keepsake. You can also increase the affinity you have with other gods by offering Nectar. This can be done by completing their wishes, which typically involves listening to their views of the Olympians and Hades.
3. Talk to Persephone
In Greek mythology, Persephone is the wife of Hades and queen of the Underworld. After Zeus lured her into his arms and took her away to the Underworld He made her promise to never look back at him, in order for the love between them to last. When she refused he forced her to consume food in the House of Hades, where he kept her in perpetually bitter sorrow. Orpheus his story was so touching that even Cerberus the three-headed dog guarding the entrance to the Underworld was able to listen to Orpheus' pleas to gods for his wife to be saved.
The King of the Olympian gods is a total asshole who not only cheated on his wife Demeter but also raped his sister Callisto. He took his daughter and kept her away from Olympus. He has a delusional sense of his own importance and thinks only of himself. He is also extremely homophobic and sexist. When he's unlocked, he offers boons that give you lightning strikes and chain lightning and his signature Status Curse Jolted, which makes enemies strike themselves to take damage. To unlock him, you'll need to talk to the gods who are not yours listen to their opinions about him and then increase your love for him to five hearts.
4. Athena is available to speak with
Athena is a fascinating character. She loves to boost your damage, both to boost your crits and to even out the sad noncrits. She's a great duo partner particularly with Chaos or Jerkies to get the extra backstab damage of Blinding Flash and lodge bloodstones with Boiling Blood. You can also apply Aphrodite or Heart Rend from her tier-2s to give your attack damage or special damage boosts, and also Weak status to decrease damage.
Another way to build her is to create a cast-focused aspect that combines a variety of attack and/or special attacks to create one massive blast. She loves Zeus for its a lot of base damage and Flurry Shot to do quite a bit of aoe. Dionysus and Artemis also increase her chances of crit. She can deflect numerous attacks by using Aphrodite and Hermes on attack or special. In addition, she gets some amazing buffs from her legendary heroes like Static discharge and Exit Wounds.
5. Talk to Artemis
Zeus is an Olympian god of thunder, sky and the younger brother of Hades. Zeus likes to grant boons that deal damage to groups of enemies, like lightning strikes in chains or chain lightning. He can also use Jolted his signature Status Curse. This curse causes enemies to suffer injury if they attack while consuming it.
Artemis is his daughter, and is known for her love of hunting and the outdoors. She is part of a group of virgin huntresses who have vowed to stay unmarried, and she's particularly angry with people that disrespect her and her sister Apollo.
Repeating your conversations with her will increase your chances of winning. If she says she is at ease with you, she is ready to reveal her true self.
Her aspect is an excellent choice for any hero who has a high likelihood of being crit. Start with her cast for a massive damage boost and then add Poms for additional damage, and Hunter's Mark for deflection, if you require it. If you're playing an attack that is fast, think about adding Chaos or Jerkies for piercing damage boosts and additional backstab damage.
6. Demeter is available to talk.
After your second attempt at escape After your second escape attempt, you'll meet Demeter. She will speak to you about Persephone her daughter and their turbulent relationship. Demeter is the goddess of fertility and resurrection. She was also Zeus's wife Cronus, and the sister of Hestia and Hera.
The Gods in the Olympus wing will give you boons when you speak to them during escape attempts, which will increase your connection with them. You can check the level of your bond by pressing L1. If you earn your best then the Gods will unlock additional options for conversation. The favor requirement varies by God.
Zeus for instance, wants to know what the other Gods consider of him. To find out you must pick up their boons while holding your own boon. Achilles wants you to congratulate him on his numerous runs. You can raise the chances of these conversations by putting them in your keepsakes. Hermes' Lambent Plume, for
oscarreys instance, offers an increase in speed and a chance to dodge.
7. Talk to Chaos
There are a variety of weapons features you can unlock to enhance your weapon's capabilities in various ways. Some are easy upgrades,
oscarreys others are powerful permanent boosts. These weapon attributes, in conjunction with Boons Keepsakes, Boons, and Nectar rewards allow you to create unique builds for every run.
Don't give up when you struggle to unlock the features of an weapon. Sometimes you have to speak with several NPCs before the waking word is revealed. Just be patient, and be sure to gift the NPC in question every time you encounter them before returning home.
The Heart-Seeking Bow uses arrows that are flung out from the heart-shaped bow to attack enemies. It costs 1 Chthonic Key to unlock the fourth feature, and increases the probability of being critically hit your targets by a percentage for each level. This is a good choice for those who have difficulty landing critical hits in combat and it can make it easier to get through the Underworld in pursuit of Zeus's goal.

Hades doesn't really like mortals that interfere with his business particularly if they're not friends or people he shares a patronship with.
